Campus?
(2) If no to
(1), why?
(3) If yes to

I thank the member for some notice
of the question.
(1) Yes; I table one statement.
 [See paper 2167.]
(2) Not applicable.
(3) On 5 August 2014 Alex Massey from The West Australian requested
information, and Jacob Kagi from ABC Perth requested confirmation on whether Ms
Dhu had been seen at Hedland Health Campus, then released and returned to the
campus after feeling sick, where she died. Both were directed to make all
requests for information to WA Police media.
The statement attributed to Mr Ron
Wynn, the regional director of the WA Country Health Service in the Pilbara,
was made in response to the following media inquiries: on 6 August 2014,
Ebonnie Spriggs from the ABC in Karratha requested whether WACHS wished to
comment following a media release by the WA Police media; on 22 August 2014,
Paige Taylor from The Australian requested a statement from WACHS; on 6 September 2014, Lauren Gillin from
Fairfax Media Ltd requested a statement from WACHS; on 24 September 2014, Ryan
Emery from SBS television requested a statement from WACHS; and on 3 September
2014, Anna Vidot from ABC radio current affairs requested a statement from
WACHS.
