(a) Ms Katalin Kraszlan is currently acting in the role.
(b) 2 October 2017 to current.
(c) The Commissioner for Victims of Crime is paid a Level 9, PSGOA salary ($151,689 – $163,015).
(d) The Commissioner reports to the Director General of the Department of Justice.
(e) The Commissioner for Victims of crime is a non-statutory position within the Department of Justice. The Commissioner has particular responsibility to ensure that both members of the public and government agencies are aware of the Victims of Crime Act 1994 and of their corresponding rights and responsibilities under that Act.
