(1) My understanding is that the Dialogue with the City process has generated a suggestion that agricultural protection zones might be used. Optimising utilisation of urban and adjacent land is clearly an important consideration. The Swan Valley is one example of the value of that. (2) The Department of Agriculture is involved in various consultation processes associated with land use planning not restricted to the Dialogue with the City process. It is a much broader process.
