I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) The proposed term of the lease
is five years, with a further two five-year options.
(2) Yes. I table
a copy of the proposed terms and conditions as provided in the request for
proposal documentation.
[See paper 2068.]
(3) The terms and
conditions are still being finalised as part of the current negotiations. Key
agreed changes, which is what the question asked me and which I am about to
give, include —
(a) use of
premises—that is, an amended description to describe use of the site
for students, including those with a disability, and the general public; and
(b) term and
option to renew—that is, a five-year lease period with a further two
five-year options.
Note that the final wording of the
terms and conditions is still subject to negotiation.
(4) The execution of the lease
agreement is anticipated in December 2018.
