(a) 55 multiday beds are available at Kaleeya Hospital as at 13 March 2008 (excluding 13 sameday beds).

(d) 8 patients transferred from Kaleeya Hospital to King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) required further medical management at a tertiary level hospital.
3 patients were transferred to KEMH as there was no Consultant Obstetrician available at Kaleeya Hospital.
