WA POLICE — GIFTS AND BENEFITS RECEIVED
With regard to the WA Police and gifts and benefits received, I refer to the period from 23 September 2008 to date. (1) Will the minister table a copy of any record of all gifts, hospitality or other benefits received by any officers in Western Australia Police or in the minister’s office? (2) If no to (1), why not? (3) If any of these involved functions or sporting events, will the minister table a list of WA Police departmental staff and ministerial staff attending and the dates of attendance? (4) If no to (3), why not? Hon ROBYN McSWEENEY

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question, and I answer on behalf of the Minister for Energy. Western Australia Police cannot provide a response in the time frame and therefore request that the question be placed on notice. And that was a very fair comment.
