AMBULANCE STANDING COMMITTEE — MEETINGS
1198. Hon ADELE FARINA to the minister
representing the Minister for Health:
In the last 12 months, has the WA
Ambulance Standing Committee met—yes or no?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
No. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 26 October
2016, and the Minister for Health will be provided with a comprehensive
briefing following the meeting, including when the next meeting is to be
scheduled. Planning and issues relevant to the contract with St John Ambulance
have been managed primarily through regular contract and operational meetings
between the Department of Health and St John Ambulance, including three
meetings in the last 12 months attended by the director general of the Department
of Health and the chief executive of St John Ambulance.
