(1) Why has it
taken so long to complete the northbound widening of Kwinana Freeway around
Murdoch?
(2) As this
project was scheduled to be completed in May 2012, what are the reasons behind
the delay?
(3) Why have
there been extended periods without any work being done on the project?

Main Roads Western Australia advises —
(1)–(3)
The widening works were originally scheduled for completion in mid-2012.
However, Main Roads subsequently varied the contract to include additional
works to improve traffic management in the Murdoch activity precinct.
