I refer to the premises located on the corner of Lincoln Street and Smith Street in Highgate, which currently houses the Western Australia Police Historical Society and Museum and ask: (a) has the Police Commissioner signed off on the lease for this site for continued use by the WA Police Historical Society, and if so when did the Police Commissioner sign the lease and why have you, as Minister for Police, still not signed off on this lease; (b) is it true the lease remains 18 months overdue, and is so why have you delayed progressing a renewal of the site for the WA Police Historical Society's activities; (c) when do you intend to sign the lease for the above premises, and if not why not; (d) has this land/premises been identified by Government for possible sale as part of its debt reduction strategy; and (e) what are the future plans for the Museum at the above site?
