The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) advises:
(a) CESMs are predominantly employed in regional areas across Western Australia, with the exception of six (6) metropolitan Local Governments.
(b) Harvey, Collie, Augusta-Margaret River, Busselton, Manjimup, Nannup, Donnybrook-Balingup, Bridgetown-Greenbushes, Katanning, Broomehill-Tambellup, Ravensthorpe, Jerramungup, Esperance, Cranbrook, Gnowangerup, Kojonup, Plantagenet, Albany, Denmark, Brookton, Pingelly, Corrigin, Lake Grace, Kent, Dumbleyung, Woodanilling, Narrogin, West Arthur, Cuballing, Cunderdin, Quairading, Tammin, Northam, Toodyay, Goomalling, Beverley, York, Irwin, Coorow, Carnamah, Perenjori, Morawa, Murchison, Yalgoo, Victoria Plains, Wongan Ballidu, Carnarvon, Shark Bay, Upper Gascoyne, Serpentine-Jarrahdale, Mundaring, Wanneroo, Swan, Kalamunda, Cockburn, Chittering, Gingin.
(c) DFES is currently undertaking reviews and risk assessments to prioritise the allocation of CESM’s to Local Governments and to ensure the equitable distribution of CESM resources to support high-risk communities across the state.
