representing the Minister for Education:
I refer to the Department of
Education' s statewide speech and language outreach service.
(1) What was the total amount of
funding allocated to the service in 2022?
(2) How many schools accessed the
service in 2022?
(3) Will the minister provide a list
of schools that accessed the service in that year?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) The total
funding allocated to the language development centres and school outreach
services in 2022 was $2 400 725. In addition, some school-related staffing
costs, such as long service leave, workers compensation and other additional
salary costs are paid centrally.
(2) The number of schools that accessed the Statewide
Speech and Language Outreach Service in 2022 was 357.
(3) I table a list
schools that accessed the service in 2022.
