(1) For each Department/Agency under the Minister's jurisdiction, can the Minister please advise, what are the final exit dates for people subject to the Targeted Voluntary Severance Scheme? (2) With reference to the Targeted Voluntary Severance Scheme, can the Minister please advise by: position number or item number, position title, position classification; and position location: (a) all positions that have been abolished, or are to be abolished; (b) the number of registered redeployees offered, or to be offered, severances; and (c) the number of Fixed Term Contract employees offered, or to be offered, severances? (3) With reference to the Targeted Voluntary Severance Scheme and those positions that have been abolished or are to be abolished, can the Minister please advise: (a) the total number of positions currently occupied by Fixed Term Employees and the expiry date of the relevant contract; (b) the total number of positions currently occupied by permanent employees; and (c) the total number of unoccupied positions that are to be or have been targeted? (4) With reference to the Targeted Voluntary Severance Scheme and specifically those positions already abolished, can the Minister please advise how consultation was undertaken?

The Public Sector Commission advises:
(1) The final exit date for people who accept an offer under the Targeted Voluntary Separation Scheme is 30 June 2015.
(2) - (3) (a) (b) and (c) Final details will not be available until staff have ceased employment and agencies have provided the necessary information.
(4) Agencies have been reminded of the requirement to consult in accordance with the provisions of the relevant industrial Awards and Agreements. Consultation with staff and unions is continuing to occur as necessary.
