All events must deliver significant benefits to the State as well as be cost effective in order to secure Government funding. Event proposals are not considered for funding against one criterion alone.
Cost, economic impact from visitation to the State, media impact (global television broadcast audience), alignment with Brand Western Australia, risk, level of private sector investment and importantly, the level of available funding, are all key factors Eventscorp considers when assessing new event funding proposals.
