The Minister Replied:
(a) Reports were prepared in 1994 by Pannell Kerr and Forster and again in 1997 by Tourism Coordinates.
(b) Yes, both these reports have been available publicly since the date of print and are available in the Parliamentary Library. I table a further copy of each report.
(c) It will grow the overall business with expansion in the over-500 delegate sector the most likely outcome. (500 delegates plus five breakout rooms currently stretch Perth's capacity to bid for convention business).
(d) We do not have a suitable facility to meet the demand for higher delegate number conferences.
