400. Hon SAMANTHA ROWE to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to the new Fiona Stanley Hospital emergency
department.
(1) What has been the average waiting time per patient?
(2) What has been the longest waiting time any single patient
has waited at the FSH ED to date?
(3) To date
have there been any ambulance diversions in place from Fiona Stanley since the
ED opened; and, if so, on which dates?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1) The average waiting time per patient has been 43 minutes.
(2) A mental health
patient waited 368 minutes—just over six hours—to be admitted
to the mental health unit.
(3) There was
one confirmed diversion on Sunday, 19 April 2015 following a code yellow
incident following a major water leak.
