MUJA AB — REFURBISHMENT
277. Mr M. McGOWAN to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question. I ask again: why did the
Premier advise the people of Western Australia in 2009 that this refurbishment
would not cost the taxpayers a cent, when now it turns out it will be somewhere
in the vicinity of $250 million?

Early in 2009, no-one was aware of the corrosion or the
extent of the corrosion on units 1 and 2.
Mr M.P. Murray :
Come on; don't try to pull the wool over people's eyes!
Mr C.J. BARNETT : I
thought the member for Collie–Preston supported Collie.
Mr M.P. Murray interjected.
The SPEAKER : Thank
you very much for those words, member for Collie–Preston! I now call
you to order for the first time.
