the late payment of fines for traffic infringements, and ask: (a) How many late
payment or overdue notices were issued in 2017; (b) How many late
payment or overdue notices were elevated to a final demand in 2017; (c) How many late payment or overdue notices were issued
as at 1 July 2018; and (d) How many late payment or overdue notices were elevated
to a final demand as at 1 July 2018?

(a) – (b) 352 040 Traffic Infringement Notices (Individual) were recorded as having a Final Demand Notice issued between 01 January 2017 and 31 December 2017.
(c) – (d) 171 129 Traffic Infringement Notices (Individual) were recorded as having a Final Demand Notice issued between 01 January 2018 and 30 June 2018.

Figures are of Final Demand Notices issued within the relevant time period. The number of Final Demand Notices may relate to Traffic Infringement Notices issued during an earlier time period.
