In relation to the indication given by you in November 2015 that the WA Auditor General would be given authority to review local government in 2015: (a) when will the legislation be introduced into Parliament to give the Auditor General this authority; and (b) will the Auditor General be given additional resources to undertake the review of local government?

(a) I intend to introduce the Local Government Amendment (Auditing) Bill 2016 in the Autumn sitting of Parliament.
(b) Resourcing requirements to undertake local government audits is a matter for the Auditor General.
