BUSHFIRE RISK, PEMBERTON FIREFIGHTERS
I have a supplementary question. Is the minister aware that, according to the Muller report, the number of permanent fire staff in the Pemberton district is 11, down from 39; and how does she justify that? Dr J.M. EDWARDS

AnswerView source ↗

I have already answered that question. The Government has advanced extra money to the Department of Conservation and Land Management to put on extra firefighters and other staff, particularly in those regions that are most at risk.
