(1) The Schools Plus Team does not determine intellectual disability. Assessment for intellectual disability is undertaken by school psychologists or registered psychologists or private practitioners.
(1)(a) As children may be assessed by private practitioners or through a Departmental process it is not possible to determine the total number.
(1)(b) Not applicable
(2) Not applicable. See answer (1) above.
