I refer to the Skills West Expo and the Minister’s advice on 1 April 2010, that it was an initiative of the
Western Australia Newspapers
, which appointed EOC Group Pty Ltd to manage the expo, and I ask -
(1) Can the Minister confirm that EOC Group Pty Ltd is in fact the owner of the Skills West Expo, and the associated intellectual property?
(2) Can the Minister advise the processes that his department engaged in prior to its decision to support EOC Group Pty Ltd?
(3) Was the Minister aware of any personal relationships that existed between Mr Chris Wharton of
The West Australian
Newspaper and representatives of the EOC Group Pty Ltd, prior to the decision to support the Skills West Expo?
