I refer to the answer to Legislative Assembly QON 2492 and ask, does the Minister's office maintain a gift registry: (a) if so, will the Minister table the registry dating back to March 2017: (i) if not, why not; and (b) if not, how are records of gifts maintained and who is considered the custodian of that information?

(a)   No
(i)  There is no formal requirement for a Ministerial office to keep a gift/corporate hospitality register in respect to Ministerial staff.
(b)   Ministerial staff are required to declare and refer invitations and any gifts received for assessment and approval by the DPC Integrity Unit to ensure that their activities fall within the parameters set out in the DPC Code of Conduct.  This information is retained by DPC.
