With the endorsement of the Office of the Auditor General, Ministerial Offices are using credit cards extensively for day to day purchasing. Consequently, the information requested by the Member involves a vast number of transactions ranging from minor expenditure to items of greater significance.
The research involved in responding to the Member's question would require staff to be diverted from their duties for a considerable time and could not be justified.
