(1) The Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia (DAFWA) has three current committees concerning animal welfare:
The Animal Ethics Committee (AEC)
The Pest Animal Control Ethics Advisory Committee (PACEAC)
The Sheep Welfare Standards - WA Consultative Group
An Animal Welfare Advisory Committee also currently being established.
