PROJECT — COMPLIANCE ASSESSMENT REPORT
605. Hon ROBIN CHAPPLE to the Minister for Environment:
I refer to question on notice 415
asked on 7 December 2017 about the Derby tidal power project compliance
assessment report. Paragraph (e) of the answer states —
The Department of Water and
Environment Regulation has reviewed this request and has written to the company
advising it to submit compliance reports for 2016 and 2017 by 28 February 2018.
(1) Did the
company submit compliance reports for 2016 and 2017 by the due date of 28
February 2018?
(2) If Tidal
Energy Australia has not provided the compliance assessment reports, will the
minister please explain why not?
(3) If yes to (1), will the minister
table the documents?
(4) If no to (3), why not?
(5) If Tidal
Energy Australia has not provided the compliance assessment report, how will
the minister ensure that it is provided and under what time frame?
