(2) If not, what payments are unable to be made on-line and why?

(1) The Department of Industry and Resources (DoIR) has established an Internet web site that allows for the payment of some fees and charges on-line. The services currently available are: · The DoIR eBookshop through which a range of products is marketed. The range spans DoIR publications, reports, maps and geological datasets. All may by purchased on-line. · Conferences and seminars that the Department organizes from time to time for which attendance fees may be paid on-line. · The on-line mining tenement register reports facility requires on-line payment of a fee for producing and emailing a report. (2) & (3) There are licenses, fees and charges that are not payable through the Internet but DoIR is examining on-line payments for mineral and petroleum royalty payments: · Explosives and Dangerous Goods fees and charges. · Mineral tenement rent. · Petroleum fees and charges for applications, dealings and other functions and, · Mineral exploration reports.
