I refer to your media statement on 4 February 2025 outlining $8.1 million in visitor upgrades to the Abrolhos Islands, and I ask: (a) What is the timeframe for the delivery of the new public jetty and rest area at Rat Island; (b) When will the Rat Island jetty and rest area be put to tender; (c) Why was the old Rat Island jetty removed before a contract had been awarded for a new jetty; (d) Can the Minister explain the reason for the delay given funding for this project was first announced more than a year ago on 26 April 2024; (e) Does the State Government have any plan or intention to expand the Rat Island air strip to allow larger planes for tourism or greater access for the Royal Flying Doctor Services; and (f) Is the Minister aware of any demand from tourism operators or other stakeholders to expand the Rat Island airstrip, and if so, please provide details?
