DRIVERS'
LICENCES — COURT SUSPENSIONS
537. Mrs M.H. ROBERTS to the
Minister for Transport:
I have a supplementary question.
Given that the minister is not on top of his portfolio and that this is a
significant current issue in it, will the minister get his department to
conduct an audit so that the question the victim's mother asked can be
answered?

Tens of thousands of licences are
issued on an annual basis and I am sorry that I cannot recall each one.
However, I will investigate this with the department and provide —
Mrs
M.H. Roberts : It was on Channel Seven last night. It has been in the media.
Your department's been answering questions.
The
SPEAKER : Member for Midland, I call you to order for the first time.
Mrs
M.H. Roberts : Ignorant and hopeless!
The
SPEAKER : Member for Midland, I call you to order for the second time.
Mr
D.C. NALDER : I had, I thought, made a decent offer to take the question on
notice and provide an appropriate response to the member concerned.
