(1) For each of the financial years 2021–22, 2022–23, 2023–24, 2024–25 and year-to-date, how many prosecutions in Western Australia resulted in a custodial sentence? (2) For each year listed in (1), please provide a breakdown by: (a) offence category (violent offences, sexual offences, drug-related offences, property offences, driving offences, other); and (b) seriousness of offence (summary, indictable, indictable-only)? (3) For each year listed in (1), please advise: (a) the average length of custodial sentence imposed; and (b) the proportion of custodial sentences that were fully suspended or partially suspended? (4) Of the prosecutions resulting in incarceration in each year: (a) how many related to first-time offenders; and (b) how many related to repeat offenders with one or more prior custodial sentences? (5) Please provide the demographic profile of offenders sentenced to custody in each year since 2021–22, broken down by: (a) age group; (b) gender; and (c) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status? (6) For each of the years in (1), how many offenders were sentenced to alternatives to imprisonment, such as community-based orders, intensive supervision orders, or conditional suspended sentences, and what proportion of total sentences did these represent?
