For each agency, department and corporation within the Minister's portfolios, I ask: (a) What projects are Huawei currently involved in; (b) What are the nature/description of those projects; (c) What is the role of Huawei (e.g. lead proponent, sub-contractor, technical advisor to Government) in the contract; (d) What is the specific services provided by Huawei for each contract; (e) What is the total value of each contract; and (f) When was each contract commenced and when are they expected to be completed?

Huawei products and components are used by a range of companies in Australia including Optus, Vodafone and TPG. For example, Optus and Vodafone use Huawei equipment and technology as per of their 4G and 3G networks. In relation to projects where Huawei has been specifically contracted by the Government:
