joondalup police district, police numbers
Is the minister aware of the recent criticism from the Labor Party that no additional police have been stationed in the Joondalup police district since the last state election? Mr PRINCE

AnswerView source ↗

Yes, I am aware of that criticism, which is, as usual, inaccurate. I thank the member for a little notice of the question. The approved staffing level for the Joondalup police district on 1 June 1997 was 230. The approved average staffing level for the Joondalup police district on 1 September 2000 was 258. It was increased by 28 in that time. I would be obliged if the member would tell the people that that is the case.
