I thank the member
for the question. One of the things that we very much enjoy talking about is
our commitment to the health workforce and particularly our government's track
record on increasing the health workforce. Since 2021, there has been an increase
in the workforce of an additional 5,000 nurses and 1,900 doctors. We also have
a commitment to ensure that we are providing permanency for our workforce and
doing what we can to ensure that people are employed on ongoing forms of
employment contracts in our health service. We understand how important staff
and the workforce are to the delivery of our health services. We are very proud
of our record.
In respect of the
question that the member raised, we continue to work on meeting their
entitlements.
