I refer to the Minister’s press release dated October 29 2004, concerning the signing of a native title agreement between the Government and the Rubibi native title claimants, and ask -
(1) Will the Minister table a copy of the agreement?
(2) If not, why not?
(3) Will the Minister confirm that the Rubibi native title claimants have not proven their claims and do not hold native title over the area subject to the agreement?
(4) Is the payment for compensation for extinguishment of native title and other benefits subject to native title being proven?
(5) If not, why not?
