HON SHELLEY ARCHER - RESIGNATION FROM AUSTRALIAN LABOR PARTY
In light of the Premier’s failure to answer this question yesterday I again ask: did the Premier ask Hon Shelley Archer to resign from the Australian Labor Party - yes or no? Mr A.J. CARPENTER

AnswerView source ↗

I responded to that question yesterday. As I recall - Several members interjected. The SPEAKER : Order, members! Mr P.D. Omodei : You haven’t got Kevin up there today. You can answer. Mr A.J. CARPENTER : There might be a Kevin or Joe up there for all I know; there are plenty of people up there. I remember when I was in opposition and used to sit over there and these sorts of questions would get thrown across. There would be an argument about the validity of the answer and the then Speaker would say that members may not like the answer, but that is it.
