All schools, including public schools, can apply to the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) to seek recognition for a curriculum that is different to the Pre-primary to Year 10 Western Australian Curriculum and/or for a different method of reporting student achievement, as outlined in the Authority’s Pre-primary to Year 10: Teaching, Assessing and Reporting Policy.
b.
Were a public school to seek recognition from the Authority for the International Baccalaureate as an alternative curriculum, the matter would be considered at that point in time.
