TREASURER'S ADVANCE — HEALTH FUNDING
625. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the minister representing the
Treasurer:
I refer to page 263 of budget paper No
3 of the 2023–24 state budget, which includes in the first two lines an
increase in the Treasurer's advance 2022–23 in the health
budget of $744.9 million, which includes $255.1 million that is ''largely
due to additional expenditure on hospital services such as regional pressures''.
(1) Which exact regional pressures
have been addressed with this $255.1 million?
(2) Can the minister please provide
a comprehensive breakdown of this expenditure of $744.9 million?
