The Minister for the Environment has provided an answer in the following terms - (1) There is no specific document referred to as an environmental assessment review. In response to question without notice 593, I tabled a copy of the Environmental Protection Authority’s report and recommendations - bulletin 6, September 2000 - on its assessment of the Magellan Metals Pty Ltd lead carbonate project, which included the proposed export of lead carbonate by Magellan Metals through the port of Geraldton. Magellan Metals prepared a consultative environmental review regarding the project in September 1999. This is a large document and a copy can be tabled if required. (2) As indicated in the response to (1), no specific document is referred to as an “environmental assessment review”.
