AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question
(1) Ministers Francis, Jacob, Marmion, Nahan and Simpson.
(2) No.
(3) Not applicable.
(4) Yes.
(5)–(6) All executive transport
officers conduct a weekly vehicle presentation and safety and maintenance
compliance check on all vehicles, including privately owned vehicles. This
information is audited. Any defects are reported and rectified on all vehicles
in consultation with the ministers' offices. The department believes
these procedures are an appropriate measure to meet duty-of-care obligations to
drivers.
