(a – b) The Department of Communities advises:
All organisations in Western Australia who engage with children are encouraged to implement the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (National Principles).
The WA Government recently announced the appointment of the Ombudsman WA as the independent oversight body for the National Principles.
Dance schools engaging in child-related work, are required to ensure employees and volunteers hold a valid Working with Children Check, unless an exemption applies.
Any child abuse concerns should be reported to WA Police
