I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) Fracture stimulation uses the pumping of fluids to create cracks, or fractures in rock formations to allow natural gas and/or crude oil to move more freely to wells and, in turn, increase hydrocarbon production. (2) It has been proposed that a well be drilled on EP 455 to 2 500 metres. Any subsequent fracture stimulation will depend on conditions under which hydrocarbons are discovered, including rock formation characteristics.
