BREASTSCREEN WA — BUNBURY
446. Hon NEIL THOMSON to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to the BreastScreen WA
clinic in Bunbury.
(1) Is the clinic being relocated
from its current premises inside St John of God Hospital?
(2) If yes to (1), where will the
clinic be relocated to and what type of accommodation will be provided?
(3) Will the clinic remain a permanent
clinic?
(4) Will the full range of services
currently available at the clinic still be available after the relocation?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) At this point
in time, no; however, St John of God Hospital has requested that BreastScreen
WA find alternative accommodation.
(2) North
Metropolitan Health Service is currently looking for a new facility to ensure
the provision of contemporary models of care to the community.
(3) Yes.
(4) Yes.
I do not know whether that makes
sense, if it is North Metro. I am going to check that bit of the answer.
