(a)-(c)  I refer to the response by the Hon Sue Ellery to Legislative Council question without notice 269 on 22 June 2017 in regard to Statements made by the Deputy Premier and confirm the allocation of funds to the Peel Mobile Health Service is not from the Yarloop Bushfire Disaster Relief Fund.
Funds originally committed to the Shire of Waroona by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet to assist with an expansion of its waste facility following the devastating 2016 bushfires are being redirected to assist the recovery efforts of the rural and farming communities of the shires of Harvey and Waroona. This includes support for the Peel Mobile Health Service.
The State Government made a contribution of $1 million in January 2016 to the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund (LMDRF) that was activated following the fires. The Member is encouraged to contact the City of Perth with questions relating to the administration of the LMDRF.
