(a)
(i)-(iii)
Data regarding public housing assets is point in time data and there are a number of processes involved in commissioning and decommissioning assets from the system.
Due to the nature of housing delivery and demolition, properties may have undergone settlement, be at practical completion or demolished in one month, but a lag may occur until the full commissioning or decommissioning process have been completed.
However, on average, there are around 125 social homes being added or returned to the system every month in Western Australia. The State Government is adding around 75 social homes per month to the system and completing an average of 50 refurbishments per month to keep existing social homes in the system for the long-term.
(iv) As at 29 February there were 19,976 applications on the public housing waitlist.
(v) 178
