569. Hon LYNN MacLAREN to the Attorney General representing
the Minister for Road Safety:
(1)
What was the total spend on safety initiatives for cyclists in 2015–16?
(2) Given that cyclists constituted four per cent
of fatalities on WA roads in 2014, will the government commit four per cent of
the overall funds available through the road trauma trust account to improving
road safety for cyclists?
(3) If no to (2), what proportion of funds
allocated to the road trauma trust account does the government propose to
allocate to the protection of cyclists?
