(1) The 1,404 FTE’s in 2016-17 represents the annual average. At 30 June 2017, the actual FTE was 1,451. The increase to the budget target of 1,534 is 83. This is predominantly staff required for the introduction of additional railcar sets, the new Aubin Grove station as well as new services for the Perth Stadium and for the Forrestfield-Airport Link.
(2) Positions include Railcar Drivers, Customer Service Officers, Transit Officers, a number of fixed term project positions and also a small number of FTE’s required to maintain the expanded network.
