I refer to the recently announced cuts to the staffing levels at the Water Corporation, and I ask: (a) how many jobs will be cut from each of the regional offices in Northam and Geraldton; (b) how many jobs will be cut from each of the district offices in Carnarvon, Exmouth, Geraldton, Moora and Three Springs; (c) how many jobs will be cut from each of the attended depots located in the Goldfields Agricultural region; and (d) of those jobs cuts in each area list in (a), (b) and (c): (i) have the relevant staff been notified; (ii) will all of the affected staff be offered a redundancy package and, if not, which staff will not be offered a redundancy package; and (iii) when will the redundancies be effective from?

(c) One back office support position from Merredin and one from Kalgoorlie. A vacant position was also removed from Northam.

dii) Yes.
diii) A number of redundancies were announced on April 22 and May 13, 2015. Those positions become redundant three weeks from the announcement date unless an employee accepts alternative employment or chooses to exit the business earlier. In these circumstances those positions become redundant on the date of exit or redeployment.
