(1) The Fire and Emergency Services Authority advises that, of the $2.2 million provided to volunteer sea rescue groups, $400 000 was allocated to the Metropolitan Volunteer Sea Rescue Group, of which the Whitfords Volunteer Sea Rescue Group is a member. The Whitfords Volunteer Sea Rescue Group was assigned $200 000 for a capital acquisition. The remaining $200 000 will be distributed at the discretion of the Metropolitan Volunteer Sea Rescue Group to its members. (2) The money was provided on 30 December 2004.
