ELECTRICITY
PRICES — PREMIER'S COMMENTS
196. Mr W.J. JOHNSTON to the
Premier:
I have a supplementary question. Does the Premier think his
reinterpretation of his promise has contributed to him becoming the most
unpopular Premier in the history of Newspoll ?

AnswerView source ↗

The reinterpretation! I remind members of the 2008 election—an
unexpected victory. The Liberal Party won 10 Labor seats and apparently we were not going to do it again. Then we went into the
2013 election and what happened? We held those 10 seats—good members of
Parliament—and we got another five seats. And the opposition says I am
the most unpopular Premier—bad luck!
