I refer to the Department’s nine air quality monitoring sites across the
Perth metropolitan area, and I ask: (a) do these sites record the presence of
carcinogens, such as strontium, barium, silver iodine and aluminium; (b) if yes to (a), what were the lowest results in the 2023 calendar year; (c) if yes to (a), what were the highest results in the 2023 calendar year; (d) if yes to (a), what were the average results in the 2023 calendar year; (e) how many complaints did the Department receive
in 2023 about the presence of such carcinogens; (f) in reference to (e), how many were investigated; and (g) in reference to (e), what were the outcomes of those investigations?
