I refer to the statements made by the Minister in the Legislative Assembly on 27 June in relation to participants invited to the Bushfire Mitigation summit, specifically that "The appropriate people
who represented both the political parties in this Parliament and who also came from high bushfire-prone zones
were the types of people who were invited. We wanted to pick their brains and get their knowledge..." and ask, did the Minister invite the Member for Girrawheen to attend the bushfire mitigation summit, and if not why not?

Unfortunately, there was significantly limited space at the venue and it wasn't possible to invite everyone who has a knowledge or experience in this area. However, the Member for Girrawheen has a standing invitation to the Minister's office and regularly offers me her thoughts and ideas on past issues and future directions.
